Shot down a Wellington (N2843), nightfighter was hit also. Made an emergency landing in the Wadden Sea east Oosterend Texel.

The crew threw-off the cockpit roof and stepped out. Since 1941, the top of the aircraft came in view at low tide. Was in quite good condition in the 1960's. 
The last parts were recovered in 2004-2007.
