APELDOORN - UGCHELEN  'HEIDEHOF' GENERAL CEMETERY

This civilian cemetery with large airwar plot, is located south of the city of Apeldoorn and south of motorway A1, in a village named Ugchelen. A number of RAF bomber crew are buried here, 57 airmen, crashed in the vicinity in WW2. There is or was no relation with Lake IJsselmeer (Old Zuyder Sea), simply because this cemetery lay too far off.
