Colleague F/O Charles O'Brien in P-51D 44-11657 was hit by light Flak and had bellylanded south of Oldebroek army base. Lt. Olson landed near him with intention to pick him up. However, coming lower Olson was also hit by the Flak, was wounded and became POW with O'Brien. |
